Project Presentation

Al-Jahiz Project for Digital Humanities aims to provide an infrastructure to support Arabic humanities in particular and Arabic sciences in general.

The project aims to develop a set of services based on natural language processing techniques to meet the different needs of the user, by developing several automated systems and developing lexical and teaching resources.

Expected Solution :

• Mapping Arabic content on the Web.


• Developing automated systems: machine translation, automatic summarization, automatic question answering.


• Create systems for teaching languages.


• Development of lexical resources.
